Robi Axiata’s Axentec launches Tier-IV data centre in Bangladesh

Robi Axiata’s digital services subsidiary Axentec officially launched on Friday what it says is Bangladesh’s first prefabricated certified Tier-IV Commercial Co-Location Data Centre.

The new data centre, named “Cypher”, is located in Jashore Sheikh Haisna Software Technology Park. The data centre covers over 16,500 square feet, offering 2N redundancy and fault tolerance power backup systems, as well as advanced cooling mechanisms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Axentec said the Cypher data centre guarantees of 99.995% uptime rate, and features high-grade security measures such as biometric access control and round-the-clock surveillance, safeguarding against physical and cyber threats.

Cypher is designed to empower businesses with a secure, reliable, and scalable co-location platform, facilitating seamless adaptation and expansion without compromising performance. With a commitment to adhering to industry regulations, Cypher becomes a symbol of trustworthiness and reliability in the digital era.

Axentec MD and CEO Md Adil Hossain Noble said the Cypher daya centre represents a significant leap towards elevating Bangladesh’s digital infrastructure.
